Clancy is a Canadian company that has been operating since 2015, developing patented technology that lives at the intersection of content consumption and ecommerce. Clancy moved forward and joined the fast-growing world of digital collectibles, creating the very first interactive NFTs, combining the value of collecting digital video-moments minted on the blockchain, and enhanced fan engagement opportunities. Our goal is to provide our partners and their fans with a world class community oriented sports collectibles experience. Clancy believes in the community of sport, and building community engagement through interactive digital collectibles experiences.

The blockchain is the place where NFTs are managed and secured. It’s a fully decentralized peer-to-peer immutable data storage that is spread over a network of participants, where no single person or group has control and rather all users collectively retain control of it. Blockchains store data in blocks that are then chained together, differing from a typical database.

A non-fungible token (NFT) is a special type of cryptographic token that represents something unique. Unlike cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and many other utility tokens, NFTs are not mutually interchangeable. NFT ownership and transaction history are secured by a blockchain, providing a unique code ID that no other user can replicate or counterfeit.

A moment is a video-highlight or historic-moment in time captured by video, minted on the blockchain to create a unique digital asset. In other words, fans can now own magic Moments of Benfica history.

An interactive Moment/NFT is a creation of Clancy, where a Moment/NFT is designed and combined with other engaging, dynamic elements for the fans to enjoy and explore. BUY A PACK AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!

Absolutely not! Our platform is built FOR the fans. All moments [NFTs] received through pack purchases are pre-minted on the blockchain and will be automatically imported to your custom wallet. Thus, all moments transacted on our custom Benfica Digital Collectibles marketplace will also not require the payment of gas fees.

Our customers have two options to buy Benfica video moments: the first - and the only available at the moment - is by purchasing packs in every drop. The second - not available at the beta phase - is by acquiring individual moments from other users at the marketplace.

Benfica packs contain iconic video collectibles. Each pack contains a certain amount of digital collectibles, depending on the cost of the pack. The more expensive, the higher drop rate for rarer digital collectibles.

Packs can be purchased at each pack drop until they are sold out. Announcement dates are published across our and Benfica social media platforms.

Our digital collectibles have different degrees of rarity: Common, Epic, Rare, Super Rare, Legendary, Ultimate, and Platinum. The first series of Moments to be released to the public market will consist only of the first four tiers of rarity. The rarer the video collectible, the lower the circulation.

Circulation is the total amount of moments minted per each unique moment. Each unique moment is minted on the blockchain with a unique serial number, which depends on its level of rarity. The higher level of rarity, the lower the total circulation of that unique moment.

The serial number is the unique identifier given to a moment within its total circulation. Keep a close eye on the serial number you receive when buying moments, because the lower the serial number, the more valuable it may be!

The short answer is, eventually yes this will be possible. While under the Beta phase, we will maintain a closed system for Benfica fans to collect, engage and transact on a safe, secure platform. When the Beta phase is finished, Benfica collectors will be able to export their moments with the freedom to transact on other platforms, with all types of collectors.

That’s the service that will allow in the future users to trade, sell or buy digital collectibles amongst them.
